Benson turned 6 months old on the 14 of October. He is still a small little squirt but he is really strong and developing really well. Unfortunately he is really close to crawling (mom is not ready to baby proof the house yet) and can sit up on his own for quite a while before taking a nose dive. Whenever he is on the floor he spends all of his time on his hands and knees. Ben has also taken to sleeping on his tummy at night.
Benson is getting better at eating solids. He loves the sweet foods like pears and sweet potatoes (I think he is taking after his mom). He has a built in turkey detector and can taste the tiniest, minuscule amount of meat mixed in with his fruits and veggies and will refuse to eat it. Not that we blame him baby meat tastes like a cross between tuna fish and cat food (and smells like it too).
We are trying a new formula for him and so far so good. Hopefully this will help him bulk up a little. His check-up is this week. Hopefully the Dr will have good things to say. We will keep you posted on the weight check.
