California or Bust: Day 1 & 2

This trip to CA was planned and things were being booked about 2 weeks before I found out I was pregnant. Great timing I know. Despite not feeling to great we decided to try it anyways. 

The first few days of our trip to CA were spent traveling. We left Salt Lake on Friday and arrived in CA on Saturday. We spent a night in Vegas at a really seedy motel. I was afraid to walk around barefoot?! Benson did really well with the traveling. One life saver was a portable DVD player and headphones. While in Vegas we made sure to stop at a really expensive buffet at the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino. We also made a stop at Alien Fresh Jerky and stocked up for the trip.
