A Week at Snowbird Part 1

This year was our first time having our very own timeshare at Snowbird. Kevin's family has been going up there for more than 30 years. He has a lot of great memories of being at Snowbird and we are excited to make some of our own with our little family. We had a lot of friends and family come and visit with us. The list: My parents, Gracye, Cox Family, The McGuire family, My brother and his family and Melanie and Dawson. If you didn't make the list this year. Try harder! Maybe next year.

The first thing Benson did was come down with some kind of bug. So the first few days were filled with fevers, diarrhea and puking. We still had a great time though.

We took the tram to the top of Hidden Peak and hiked down to the Peruvian Tunnel and rode the chair lift back down the mountain. Pricey but a great view. It was also a little windy. Grandma Grayce went with us too. Benson decided that his legs were broken and had to be carried down the trail the whole way. We found some cool rocks and made one into a necklace during one of the craft activities at the lodge. If you decided to do this trip, I recommend you ride the tram up and hike downhill to the chairlift.

There is no shortage of wildlife up at Snowbird. The animal you see the most is the Pot Gut or ground squirrel. We may or may not have "accidentally" dropped some pretzels from our hands and the squirrels may or may not have eaten them. Benson even spotted a "doggie". Also know as a raccoon.

We also took many trips down to the playground area. This was probably the favorite activity we did with the kiddos who came to visit us. Although swimming was right up there.

More exciting pictures coming soon!
