Kevin & Kevin's Birthday

My sister-in-law married an awesome guy named Kevin a few months back, so we have two in the family now. We call the other Kevin "Dawson". The funny thing is that their birthdays are on the 10th & 11th of August. Same name, and almost the same birthday. Plus they have many more things in common. Even though it's a little confusing at times we are so glad he decided to join the family.

To celebrate Melanie and I planned a surprise double date on Saturday. The boys didn't know where we were going until we pulled into the parking lot. We had a hard time keeping it a secret with our moms in on it. We decided to get in touch with our 13 year old selves again and went to Trafalga in Lehi. We played mini golf, laser, tag, rode the go carts, play arcade games and had ice cream. We were not to impressed with the go-carts but the rest was really fun, although hot.  The coolest thing was a room with lasers in it that you had to navigate without breaking the beams just like in a spy movie.

We then had a family party with everyone on Sunday evening. We had my parents, Kevin's family and Dawson's family, so it was quite the  multi-family crowd. We celebrated with a LEGO theme. I have posted some pictures from our two days of funness. Some are not the greatest because they came off of cell phones. Enjoy!
