Merry Christmas

We have had a fun and eventful Christmas season this year. Here are a few highlights.

We had a Rees family Christmas party at Aunt Sonja's It is a great time to see extended family and Santa usually stops by with presents for all of the kids.

We spent Christmas Eve with my parents and my brother and family. Kevin cooked a ham for us and we spent most of the night playing games and opening presents. We got 10 different games or booster packs this year. We will be having a lot more game nights. Watch for your invites in the e-mail.

Christmas day the power was out from 6:30 - 10 in the morning. It got below 60 degrees in our house and was very chilly. I felt sorry for all of the little kids opening their presents by flashlight! We had dinner with Kevin's family and once again played games and opened a lot of presents. The favorites of the evening were Ethan's suit of armor and Melanie's fancy balloon weight.

We got home around 1:00 am and got stuck half way in the drive way in the foot and a half of snow that had fallen. We wanted to unload all of our stuff so we shoveled the walk at one in the morning. What a storm!

We are grateful for the generosity of all of our family and friends. Have a Happy New Year!
