Easter 2008

We celebrated Easter at our house this year with my parents and brother and his family. Kevin cooked a ham for the main dish. His secret ingredients were gingersnap cookies and Dr. Pepper (oh yeah, and some pickle juice too). It sounds weird but it tasted great! Everyone contributed some food and we were so full we couldn't eat another bite.

We had an Easter egg hunt for the little kids. Paige of course didn't quite get the concept, but she still had a blast. It was fun to watch her pick up eggs because she bends at the waist instead of the knees. They got quite the haul. They are very spoiled, but I guess that's what happens when you're the only grandkids. Foxy wanted to help with the eggs but she was very good when we told her to leave them alone. She sat on one and tried to hatch it.

After dinner the kids played in the backyard and Ann got lessons on her new Rubik's Cube. Kevin has been into speed cubing lately. He can solve it in under a minute. Ann has wanted one ever since she saw Kevin's and she got one for Easter. We told her she will have to take it to the delivery room with her when she has her baby.

We hope you had as much fun on Easter as we did. What fun things do you do on Easter with your family?
