We are thinking about adopting another dog. She is a red heeler mix. The shelter has named her Lindy but we are thinking about a new name for her. What do you think? Should we adopt? We might rename her so post your suggestions for doggy names. She will come home tomorrow if we don't talk ourselves out of it.

Will she and Foxy get along? Are you allowed to have the girls meet first?

She is 9 months old. And no, we don't have any ideas yet for names. We are looking for suggestions.
Foxy has already met her. They seem to get along ok, as good as we expected anyway. Foxy is always hesitant of new people and animals, but she usually warms up to them. She loves playing with another dog in our neighborhood, and she loved it when we picked up a stray puppy for a couple days, so we think she will do fine.
We are going down there right now see her again, and maybe pick her up. Wish us luck.
After all is said and done, after all the deliberations, we didn't get Lindy. It was a hard decision. We decided it just didn't quite feel right.We hope that Lindy will find a good home to go to.
